Editing and Writing for Business

Copy that is intelligent, insightful, impactful, and inclusive

Through editing, fact-checking, citation creation and compliance, ghostwriting, and proofreading, I collaborate with clients on reports, essays, case studies, web content, and more. • “Sherri has been collaborating with us on our annual Housing Underproduction Report for several years, coordinating guest essays, writing content, editing from development to final polish, and managing citations. She quickly became a natural part of our team, responding with flexibility, humor, and grace to timeline changes and shifting priorities. We are looking forward to a long relationship with Sherri.”

    Anjali Kolachalam
    Research & Policy Manager
    Up for Growth

  • "Sherri quickly learned our detailed style guide and fully embraced our inclusive language ideals. Despite not having a science background, she learned the medical and technical terms used in our content. She also balances speed and perfection, a tricky pursuit in the copyediting world. I highly recommend Sherri."

    Melinda Campbell
    Copyediting Manager, Blueprint

  • “Sherri took great care to respect the author's voice in the manuscript she edited for me. Instead of bullying the author’s voice into submission with rigid rules or her own tone, she elevated it and made it sing!”
